The Mobile Library will be out of service today, Tuesday, July 20. Patrons who normally use the Mobile Library are advised to call the Adult Services Department, 262-636-9217, for an update before planning a visit to the Mobile Library.

Materials due at the Mobile Library while it is out of service will be renewed, and fines will not be charged.

Friday, July 16 - Monday, July 19: Mobile Library Out of Service

The Racine Public Library's Mobile Library is experiencing technical problems and will out of service Friday, July 16-Monday, July 19. Depending on the nature of the problem and the length of time it takes to make repairs, the Mobile Library may be out of service additional days. Patrons who normally use the Mobile Library are advised to call the Adult Services Department, 262-636-9217, for an update before planning a visit to the Mobile Library.

Tuesday, February 23: Afternoon Craft Program Cancelled

The after school story time and craft program that was to be held this afternoon at 3:30 has been canceled because of illness. Thank you for your understanding.

Racine Public Library Program Canceled For This Evening.

The Racine Public Library is announcing the cancellation of this evening's workshop on "Healthy Holiday Eating" to be held at 6:30 pm. Eat Right Racine, the program facilitator, was forced to cancel the program due to a family emergency. A future workshop may be rescheduled. The library appreciates your assistance in spreading the word.

LIBRARY TEENSPACE CANCELED FOR FRIDAY

Racine – The Racine Public Library's TeenSpace event scheduled for Friday, October 31 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. has been changed to Saturday, Nov. 15, from 2:00-3:30 p.m.

The Nov. event will feature a special meet and greet with author John Green and his brother Hank. The Green Brothers are founders of NerdFighters, an online community that fights for the rights of Nerds and that provides teens and young adults a space for creative expression. The event will be held at the Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St.

The monthly Friday TeenSpace events for the future will be rescheduled to other days due to the change in the Library's open hours.

The Racine Public Library's TeenSpace is a monthly gathering for teens ages 11-18 offering gaming (video and board), music, art projects, the newest teen materials, and refreshments.
