Public Internet Changes at the Library

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., will begin limiting Internet use to two hours per day for each user of the public Internet stations. Users will be required to log on using a current Racine Public Library Card Library cards are free to residents of Wisconsin with a state-issued photo ID, and proof of current address. Users are encouraged to obtain a library card before this date.

The Racine Public Library Board of Trustees recognizes that Internet access is one of the busiest services the library provides, and with this change, more people will be able to access the Internet.

Users with their own laptops are welcome to unlimited free access to the WiFi Internet available on the library's second floor. There are desks available near outlets for users needing to recharge their laptops.

For more information contact the library at 262.636.9217.
