Are you a teen mourning the end of summer vacation? Well misery loves company, so come join other teens dreading the start of school and drown your sorrows in the ultimate comfort food: ice cream sundaes. TeenSpace Leadership at the Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St. will hold its monthly organizational meeting on Friday, August 29 from 4-5 p.m. in the Youth Services Dept. with a "There's No Better Way Than Sundae" feel-good party.
This event is sponsored by TeenSpace Leadership, a group of teens whose goals are to create unique and exciting programs for the teens at the library, to recommend teen materials to library staff, and to assist the library in the development of teen services. New members are always welcome!
Some discussion and planning will be held about upcoming teen programming.
All teens ages 11-18 are welcome to join this free event. For more info call Becky at 262.619.2571 or email becky.spika@racinelibrary.info.
