The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., will host an evening introduction to Sahaja Yoga, a unique method of mediation based on Self Realization (kundalini awakening) on Tuesday, August 12 from 6-7 pm in the Library's Lee Room. This introductory class is free of charge and no registration is necessary. Sessions will be started every 15 minutes so registration is not necessary and drop-in visitors are welcome.
Sahaja Yoga Meditation is practised by many thousands of people around the world. Its popularity has grown steadily since it was founded in 1970, by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Many centers have been established around the world to offer the public an opportunity to experience this simple meditation.
