Racine –The Hispanic Roundtable and the Racine Public Library are extending the popular Latin@ Voices Monday open mic nights for one more week. The final event on Oct. 13 will wrap up a month of Hispanic Cultural Celebration. Beginning at 6:30 p.m., community members are invited to gather in the Racine Public Library’s Atrium Café to share poetry, songs, readings and art from the Hispanic community. Participants may share their own work or the work of others and may attend as audience members or performers. The Library’s “Atrium Café” is located at 75 Seventh St. in Racine.
Artists wishing to display work are encouraged to call ahead to reserve space. Performance registration begins at 6:15 p.m. the night of the events or may be done ahead of time.
