The first, entitled "Gaza: Bombed and Blocked", will be presented by Pat Chaffee. Chaffee visited the West Bank/Gaza several times in 2009 and will share a slide show presentation of her experiences. The presentation will be held on Monday, April 26 at 10:30am and at 6:30 pm. The event is free and open to the public. No registration is necessary.
The second program is scheduled in celebration of Dia De Los Ninos/Dia De Los Libros or Children's Day/Book Day. This family oriented event, being held on Thursday, April 29 from 6:00-7:30 pm, is a special storytelling performance by Bilingual Storyteller Kay Weeden, entitled ¡Say OlĂ©! Weeden's lively performance will feature stories, rhythms and dance in English and Spanish for both English and Spanish speakers. The event is free and no registration is necessary. Younger siblings are welcome to attend this wonderful event.
