Job Skills Workshops

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., is offering several job skills workshops during April. These skill-building sessions are offered by the Racine and Kenosha Area Chapter (SRKA) of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Two classes remain in the series. Each workshop is limited to 15 participants and registration is required. Participants may register for the following:

  • Thursday, April 22, 6:30 p.m. – Employer Expectations
Come see what skills and traits an employer is really looking for in a prospective employee.

  • Thursday, April 29, 6:30 p.m. – Interviewing for Success
Sell yourself in an interview by learning the skills and competencies a job applicant needs. Interview preparation, tips and common questions asked will be discussed.

All workshop sessions will be held in the Lee Room at the Racine Public Library. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion after each session. To reserve a spot for these free programs or for more information, contact the Racine Public Library at (262) 636-9217.
