Thursday, December 9: "Baby BONK!" Fundraiser for Life's Transitions Inc.

The Racine Public Library is hosting an adult "Baby Bonk!" on Thursday, Dec. 9 beginning at 6pm at Gerald's Smokehouse, 1501 Washington Ave. Entitled "Building Futures; In Support Of Life's Transitions, Inc," this fundraising event will feature great food and thought-provoking readings by local poets.

Admission to the event is free and open to all. Proceeds from a silent auction and sales at Gerald's Smokehouse will go to support the work of Life's Transitions, Inc.

Life's Transitions, Inc is a non-profit organization serving Southeastern Wisconsin whose goal is to assist disabled and disadvantaged individuals in finding meaningful employment within the community while maximizing their abilities and/or fostering healthy life styles. Their many services include school transitional services, career assessments, Ticket-To-Work placement, job placement, on-site job coaching and retention services, and many other employment programs.
