Tuesday, May 31 & Tuesday, June 7: Library Hosts Musical Storytime

The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St, will host Harmonious Beginnings, a special storytime featuring musical and rhythmic exercises combined with popular children's stories, on Tuesday, May 31 and June 7 from 10-11am. The free program is geared for children ages birth to age 5; no registration is necessary. Children should be accompanied by an adult.

Harmonious Beginnings is facilitated by Lisa Friedrich, a board certified Music Therapist, who will teach developmentally appropriate music skills in a fun, lively and positive environment. Friedrich uses original melody put to familiar books to cultivate a love of reading and to encourage interactive participation among young children. Group activities include interactive storytelling, movement, and singing.

Questions may be directed to the Racine Public Library, 262.636.9245.
