The Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh Street, is offering students in second through
seventh grades an After School Math Club from 5:30-6:30 p.m. on Monday nights beginning
January 23rd and continuing through June 4th.
The After School Math Club will be facilitated by Sandeep Reddy, an eighth grader and Hilpert
Scholar from The Prairie School. Featuring math enrichment activities, new problem-solving
techniques and homework tutoring, the club provides an entertaining place to learn and share
with fellow math students.
Reddy has many math accomplishments, including a first-place finish and invitation to the state
competition in the 2011 regional Math Counts team event. He has presented two math workshops
at the Racine Public Library, "Learning Math the FunWay" and "Creative Math for Grades Four
Through Six." This is his third year as facilitator of the After School Math Club.
