Battle of the Books Mock Meets

Racine – The Youth Services Department of the Racine Public Library, 75 Seventh St., is hosting
two informational meetings for the 2012 Battle of the Books participants. Each meeting,
approximately one hour long, will be informal and participants are invited to be part of a mock
meet team. While attendance is not mandatory, it could prove helpful to understanding what
is involved in a Battle. The first meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 6:30pm
in the Youth Services Department of the library. The second, similarly formatted meeting
is scheduled for Thursday, January 19 2 6:30pm, also in the Youth Services Department.
Participants' families and supporters are also invited to attend. Please call Racine Public
