RACINE PUBLIC LIBRARY UPDATING LANGUAGE BANK

The Racine Public Library is updating its Language Bank, a list of community residents
who speak and/or read and write foreign languages and who are willing to assist others with oral
interpretations or written translations. The library provides the names and phone numbers of people
with language skills to clients seeking this expertise. Fees for services, if any, are worked out between
the translator and the client.

The Racine Languages Bank presents a picture of the large number of different languages spoken or read
by citizens of our community. To add your name to the Language Bank, please call the library at
262-636-9217, or visit the library's website at www.racinelibrary.info and fill out the form on
the "Translator Registration" link under Library News.
