Solo Musician “Mexico City Is Sinking” to Host Album Release Concert at Racine Public Library

Solo Artist Marco Jaimez, using the moniker Mexico City Is Sinking, will be
performing music from his latest project at the Racine Public Library, 75 7th St., on Tuesday February 19, 2013. The performance starts at 6p.m. Mexico City Is Sinking's debut album, "Michi Gami" was released on November 13, 2012 and Marco is excited to bring his creativity and passion to a wide range of audiences. Jaimez is a native of Racine.

"Michi Gami" was released by Paxia Records and is a solo acoustic project alive with many musical influences. The album is an artistic expression motivated by people and circumstances. This singer-songwriter's original acoustic style is a mix of soulful sounds and eclectic charm with a lyrical content that is inspired by emotions
and observations of the world around us. Paxia Records is proud to have Mexico City Is Sinking as their debut artist.

Based out of Racine, Wisconsin, Paxia Records was established with the release of Mexico City Is Sinking's debut album. Paxia is an independent label devoted to developing the artist. They are interested in all genres
and musical styles that evoke distinctive, intelligent, and exciting sounds.
