Storytime Programs for Young Listeners

The library's enthusiastic and entertaining storytellers are ready to launch their winter season of storytimes for kids ages birth-5. Beginning Jan. 22 and running through March 12 families may select the 20-30 minute program best suited to their young listener. Participants will experience stories, songs, and activities designed to teach early literacy skills necessary for educational success. Registration is not necessary for these storytimes. Educational play and craft opportunities are offered following the Tuesday storytimes.

  • Mother Goose Storytime is held Wednesdays at 9:30 & 10:30 for children 3 and younger who are accompanied by an adult.
  • Preschool Storytime will appeal to children 3-5 years of age who are able to sit independently and is held on Tuesdays at 2:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 9:30 & 10:30 a.m.
  • Family Storytime will offer activities for parents and children ages birth to 5 and is held on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.
